Membership Categories & Forms for New Members

  • Individual membership is available to nurses holding faculty and/or preceptor positions in a nurse practitioner program.  Each individual member has one vote, is eligible to hold an elected position, receives membership communications, and receives membership discounts.
  • Program (Group) membership is available to all nurse practitioner educational programs. Each nurse faculty member for whom dues are paid under program membership shall have one vote, is eligible to hold an elected position, receives membership communications, and receives membership discounts. If you are submitting a program membership for the first time, please make sure you include a member profile form for each faculty member to complete.
  • Associate membership is available to all interested persons.  Each Associate member receives membership communications and membership discounts, but is not eligible to vote or to hold an elected position.
  • Student membership is available to nurse practitioners enrolled in a graduate, degree-conferring program.  The student member receives membership communications and membership discounts, but is not eligible to vote or to hold an elected position.  An individual is eligible for this category of membership for no more than 2 years.
  • Honorary membership is conferred by the Board of Directors on non-members who contribute significantly to the advancement of nurse practitioner education and the profession.  Honorary members receive member communications and membership discounts but are not eligible to vote or to hold an elected position.
  • Retired members are academic or clinical nurse practitioner faculty members who retire from academic practice.  Individuals may request consideration for this category of membership.  Retired members receive member communications and membership discounts, but are not eligible to vote or to hold an elected position.

Membership Dues
The NONPF membership year runs from September 1 to August 31. Members who join mid-year, prior to the annual conference, are subject to the full dues. Dues will be prorated for members who join after May 1 and before August 15.

Annual Dues:

  • Individual Members - $125
  • Program (Group) Membership (up to 4 faculty representatives) - $500
    $100 each for additional faculty representative, as well as program director, included in Program membership.
  • Associate Members - $100
  • Student Members - $75
  • Retired Members - $50

Membership Applications
To apply for membership in NONPF, please print out an Individual, Program (Group), Associate or  Student membership form and return it with your dues payment to the NONPF office.  For Program (Group) memberships, please have each member fill out a member profile form.
